Evernote and OneNote are currently the ‘big boys’ in the note taking world and it came as a surprise when Google suddenly entered the fray with Google Keep, available through Google Drive via web on your PC/laptop or via app for phone/tablet.
Google Keep lets you to take a note that includes any of the following: typed text, dictated text, recorded sound (with dictated text – not a straight sound recording), photos (but not video as yet), and lists.
At this stage of the game Google Keep is obviously some way behind the major competition, but one would expect new additions to become available at regular intervals.
The interface is sleek, uncluttered and easy to use. Even with its current simplicity it is very pleasant to use, although it is early days yet-
