The Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía has approved the renewal of the declaration of Nerja as a large tourist municipality for the purpose of free trade in the summer and Easter periods for another four years. This allows freedom of commercial opening times during Holy Week, from Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday, and in the summer from July to September 15th.
