Discussions have been taking place to restart the long stalled building project in the area designated SUP-4 in Fuente del Baden. The Council has announced that some work could resume within days and the bulk as from the beginning of April. The completion time for the project is eighteen months.

It is a project to build 425 houses that people don’t want or can’t get a mortgage for – VIP subsidised housing projects have been cancelled for this reason – and a hotel, €4.5 million in total. It does, of course, provide municipal income through various licences which usually seems to be the main reason for any construction project these days.
