The village of Cútar has a new medical consultation office to serve the 600 inhabitants, the building having been inaugurated on Tuesday at a ceremony attended by the territorial delegate for Health and Social Welfare, Daniel Pérez, the president of the Provincial Council, Elias Bendodo, and the mayor of Cútar, Francisco Javier Ruiz.
The facility is located on calle Sauco and has an area of 112 square metres. Construction, costing around €171,000, was financed under an agreement between the Central and Provincial Governments.
The Territorial Delegation of Health and Welfare and the Provincial Council have already signed several cooperation agreements to equip municipalities in the province with modern sanitary facilities, comfortable and affordable, in addition to correcting various inequalities in health care.
