The Councillor for Civil Protection, Inocencia Quintero, has been handing out diplomas to Civil Protection volunteers who attended a one day training course at the Municipal School of Public Safety in Málaga (ESPAM).
The conference was deemed such a success in terms of attendance by the volunteers from Nerja that Councillor wants to see it repeated at least once per year. The Civil Protection volunteers assist with many of the public events in the town.
