The third photo competition ‘Las Protegidas en Imágenes’ will open on May 6th for entries from both amateur and professional photographers, with prizes of €80, €50 and €30 for the best three works.
The theme of the competition is the quaintness of the Barrio de las Protegidas (the area around Plaza de Andalucia) and contestants may submit up to three photographs, in colour or black and white, on paper with a size of 20 x 30 cm. In addition, these should also be presented in digital format.
The photos must be original, previously unpublished and must not be ‘retouched’. Picture quality refinements, such as brightness, hue, contrast, etc, are, however, allowed.
The identification data of the contestant (name, ID number, telephone, postal and email address, if any), must be included in a sealed envelope with the photos. The outside of the envelope must indicate the same title or slogan to be found on the back of each work submitted.
