The minority PSOE government in Torrox has presented a new proposal to the Treasury Information Commission and Special Accounts to resolve various discrepancies in another attempt to approve the 2013 budget and initiate infrastructure spending of around €1.3 million. So far, all the opposition groups (IU, PP, PIU and PA) have soundly rejected the budget proposals.
The government is looking to start, amongst other things, the final phase of the remodelling of calle Pontil, repairs to avenida Andalucia and improvements to road safety on the N-340, the carretera de Circunvalación, avenida de las Palmeras and Colina del Sol,
