Two men and a woman died and the pilot was injured on Saturday after a Cessna 172 crashed in an agricultural area on the island of Mallorca.
The plane, registered to the charter company Aviation Center, was based in Son Bonet. Those who died in the crash were 35 year-old Johan Alberto B.O., a Colombian national, 23 year-old Ernesto S.O., an Argentinian national, and Elisabeth R.M., a native of Barcelona.
The pilot, who suffered multiple injuries and is in a serious condition in the hospital Son Espases in Palma, was 23 year-oldIgnacio C.O., another Argentinian national.
One of the firefighters suffered minor burns and a witness to the incident who went to try and help suffered smoke inhalation.
