José Mourinho’s final match in charge of Real Madrid ended in a 4-2 victory over Osasuna. No trophies this season, but he does at least bow out with a win.
Higuaín and Essien gave Real a good start in the first half before Roberto Torres and Cejuda provided a mini comeback to level matters. Benzema and Callejón got their names on the scoresheet and in the end it was a comfortable win for the La Liga runner’s up.
Barcelona, meanwhile, ended the season with 100 points after a comfortable 4-1 victory over Málaga. No Lionel Messi so David Villa, Fabregas, Montoya and Iniesta stepped up to get the job done. Morales was the lone scorer for the Blue and Whites.
