Popped in to El Puente, at the western end of Nerja, for a quick lunchtime tapa and it was as good as ever. El Puente is invariably bustling with activity at lunchtime and yesterday, being a hot day, the terraces were almost full.
El Puente is in a great location by the ‘Puente Nuveo’ (new bridge), has two good sized terraces and separate bar and dining areas. The atmosphere is always good and the staff, some of whom have been there for years, are attentive and quite bubbly.
I had a concoction of chick peas, tender chicken, morcilla (black pudding), veggies and other bits. Absolutely excellent. The service, as usual, was first rate.
