The BBC will be recording several episodes of a children’s programme in Nerja, probably on August 2nd and 3rd. The programme, called ‘Woolly and Tig’, features a four year-old girl, Tig, and her toy spider, ‘Woolly’.
The episodes, each five minutes long, will be shot in a hotel, in the streets, on the Balcón de Europa and on Calahonda and Burriana beaches and will also include an appearance by the Nerja Municipal School of Dance.
The programmes explore the feelings of children when faced with new experiences, in this case travelling on holiday to a foreign country for the first time. Tig will interact with other children who do not speak her language, thus learning about a new culture.
