A protester heckled and interrupted a speech by US First Lady Michelle Obama at a fundraising event causing the First Lady to throw a wobbly and state, “Listen to me or you can take the mic, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice.” The crowd, for some reason, urged Mrs Obama to stay, and the woman was then escorted out.
However, the official White House transcript of the fundraising event made no mention of the interruption and verbal exchanges save for a small note: (Inaudible audience interruption). So it just didn’t happen. And we are supposed to trust politicians?. Something to ponder on the drive back to Roswell.
Michele says:
Yes, the mind boggles . . . in our US of A these days, we are neither to believe our own (lying) eyes and ears than we are to listen to opposing points of view.
My country has become more and more like those South American and Eastern European countries of old . . . the ones so many worked so very hard to defeat . . . but is now re-emerging through the current “government” of the US.
May God help us all.
