Málaga Council has approved an amendment to the 2009 Mobility Ordinance which will lower the maximum speed limit on single-lane roads and one way streets to 30 kph.
Roads with pedestrian priority, such as those in the historical centre, will be regulated at either 10 kph or 20 kph. All other roads will remain at the current maximum speed limit of 50 kph.
Another amendment to the ordinance, which takes effect this summer, is that the loading and unloading times will begin at 07:00 rather than 08:00.
