The Department of Environment of Rincón de la Victoria Council has, for the first time, commissioned equipment for disabled bathers at the beach in La Cala del Moral. Until now, this equipment was only available on the beach in Torre de Benagalbón.
The equipment consists of amphibious seats and crutches, small cranes, a smart defibrillator, steel wheelchair, examination table and two complete first aid kits.
The measures are costing €6,000 and come as a result of an agreement with Fundación Humana, the organisation responsible for collecting used clothing in the municipality.
The new access point for disabled bathers at La Cala del Moral is at Llano de Baluma and there will be parking, showers and toilets for those with reduced mobility.
