The beaches in Fuengirola now have lifeguard and rescue services provided by the company Medios Acuáticos S.L. and the service will continue until September 15th 2013.
The company is providing 25 lifeguards, 2 coordinators, 1 doctor, 1 technical director, 1 nurse, 1 ambulance driver and a communications operator. The company is also providing an ambulance with basic life support services, rescue vessels, a small crane for helping people with disabilities and other equipment.
The service is available on the beaches of Carvajal, Torreblanca-Las Gaviotas, Los Boliches, San Francisco, Fuengirola –Santa Amalia and Castillo-Ejido.
The company also offers the service at Easter and will offer a special service for the Noche de San Juan on June 23rd/24th. The service is operated daily throughout the summer between 11:00 and 20:00.
