This week sees the III Biennial ‘Arte Flamenco’ show at the Alhaurín de la Torre prison, coinciding with the Cultural Week being held in the facility.
Thursday sees the screening of the film ‘Flamenco entre rejas’ (Flamenco behind bars) by the directors Tristán Copley and Ron Ammon.
‘Flamenco behind bars’ is a Spanish-Israeli co-production which won an award at the Flamenco Festival Short Film II (FFLAC 2011) held at the Centro de Creación Contemporánea Matadero in Madrid. The film won the award in the category of ‘Best Documentary’.
On Sunday at 17.00 hours, the III Bienal de Arte Flamenco Málaga has organised a concert in the auditorium of the provincial prison, with ‘La Tana’ paying tribute to the acclaimed flamenco artist Camarón de la Isla
