Ronda Council has started a project to repair a number of rural roads in the municipality which were damaged by the winter rains. The total cost will be around €190,000 and is being financed by the local and provincial authorities.
the first stage, costing €32,000, covers El Polvorilla, Vejera, Cañada Campo de Gibraltar, Cordel Puerto del Monte-Puerto del Quejigal, Hoya del Espino, La Lomilla, Virgen de la Cabeza, Montecorto-Puerto Saúco, Boquete de los Bueyes and Sijuela-Tajo del Abanico.
A second project, valued at €150,000, has been drafted to improve the roads to the wineries and imcludes the areas of El Llano de la Cruz, Los Frontones, Cordel del Puerto del Quejigal and La Cimada.
