The Mediterranean Archaeological Park in Rincón de la Victoria has reopened following renovations to the area which had become quite run down.
Land clearance, tree pruning repair and replacement of fixtures, a new perimeter fence, planting of trees and shrubs and signboards are some of the improvements carried out with a €16,000 grant from the Málaga Provincial Council.
The park, which covers 90,000 square metres, is open from 10:30 to 22:00 in the summer and from 10:00 to 19:00 in the winter. Admission is free.

We went here today. If this is ‘restored’ I dread to think of how it was before. It was not worth finding. There was a little replica of a cave, and several paths around trees and plants that you can see anywhere. Where is the ‘archeology’? Not recommended as a good day out.
