Firemen have been working overnight, without air support, to control and extinguish three forest fires, two in Almeria and one in Jaén, which were caused by lightning during a thunderstorm.
In Almeria, the fires affected the Castillo area of Huércal-Overa and an area between Mojácar and Turre in the Sierra Cabrera.
In Jaén, the fire is very close to the Cazorla, Segura and las Villas Natural Park. The fire was brought under control early this morning.
