Midnight and the Balcón de Europa and calle Cristo were fairly busy, people wandering, shopping or partaking of refreshments. Los Barriles, El Pulguilla and the Round Bar were particularly packed.

Just had my annual fix of the lovely Nerja and was glad it has remained as beautiful as ever!!
I visited all my usual watering holes and enjoyed the relaxed pace of life after the miserable uk weather we endured for the extended winter.
I was however saddened to see that the music had almost ceased on the Balcon, and there seemed to be beggars at every corner.
I am glad that the regulars who collect for a worthy cause are still going strong but was saddened by the continued sewage that washed up on the calahonda beach over several days. the 2 x boats made valiant attempts to remove what they could but it is such a shame that something that can be resolved is still blighting an almost perfect holiday yet again!!

I have to agree about the lack of music on the Balcon. There used to be a lovely atmosphere when the pan pipes etc were playing, and the Tango dancers too.
