Twenty-three year old Manuel Gavilán Ruiz, ‘Gavilán hijo’, from Adamúz, Córdoba, was proclaimed winner of the first Young Voices of Flamenco contest held on Saturday in Plaza del Olvido. The singer won a trophy, €1,000 and a recording session to record three songs.
