More of the new Axarquia regional Integrated System for Tourism Quality in Destinations (Sicted) certificates for organisations and services in Nerja, the Municipal Tourist Office having already been presented with its award.
Burriana and Torrecilla beaches have achieved this certification, as have Apartamentos Toboso, Marina Turquesa Apartahotel, Souvenirs Padial, Miguel García SCP; Sole Centro de Belleza Integral, Hotel Jimesol, Lual Servicios Turísticos, Inmobiliaria Don Villas and Centro de idiomas Quorum.
The board deciding the awards is presided over by Oscar Medina, president of the Association of Municipalities of the Eastern Costa del Sol, along with representatives from a number of acronyms such as AVEV, AEHCOS, ACET, AEHMURV, AIEPA and ASEMUV. Also represented on the board are the Provincial Council, the Federation of Andalucian Chiringuitos, the Consortium for the Promotion, Development and Consolidation of tourism in Vélez-Málaga and the Nerja Tourist Board.
