The tenth edition of the gastronomic festival ‘Saborea Guadalhorce’ takes place in the Valle del Guadalhorce during August and this year pays homage to the tomato and nine restaurants will be offering dishes made from over forty different varieties of tomato, although hopefully not all in one dish. Locally grown varieties of tomato include “huevo de toro”, “choricero”, “Josefa”, “verde”, “sherry”, “malara”, “morao”, “peralta”, “de pera”, “moscatel” and “corazón de buey”.
