Monday begins with weather alerts for high temperatures, rains or storms in 28 provinces in Spain.
The alert level is ‘yellow’ in Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Sevilla, Badajoz, Cáceres, Avila and Ciudad Real where temperatures of 38 degrees can be expected.
Madrid is set for 37 degrees and Cuenca, Guadalajara, Salamanca and Orense for 36 degrees. El Hierro, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma and Tenerife can expect temperatures of at least 38 degrees.
Teruel, Soria, Burgos, Palenica, La Rioja, Navarra, Huesca, Zaragoza and Soria are on ‘yellow alert’ for rains and coastal storms are expected in A Coruña.
