At 05:00 on Friday morning, four masked men in a white BMW rammed an entrance to Worten in Marbella and made off with small but valuable items to the value of €80,000.
The main entrance to the store has a bollard in front of it but a narrow alley gave the thieves the opportunity they needed to ram one of the entrances. The manoeuvre required skill on the part of the driver.
The thieves knew exactly where to go once they had battered their way inside and what to steal, suggesting they were well acquainted with the layout of the store.
The whole event was recorded on CCTV and it apparently looked as though one of the robbers was directing the others as to exactly where to go and what to steal. Mobile phones, tablets and other small, yet valuable items were the target.
