According to the Spanish newspaper Diario ABC, Burriana beach is in the top ten beaches in the country preferred by foreign tourists. It comes in at number four, behind Playa de las Americas (Tenerife), Playas del Papagayo (Lanzarote) and Playa de Barceloneta (Barcelona).
Nerja is one of the places most visited by foreign tourists who decide to enjoy a holiday on the Costa del Sol and amongst the many sites along the Nerja coast, Burriana beach is one of the most frequented.
The beach has, since 2004, received the Q for Tourist Quality flag. It is located in the town that hosted the popular series ‘Verano Azul’ and is often frequented by families.
The area is quiet and the surrounding environment has a special charm. On the beach, in addition to enjoying the scenery and the waters, you can enjoy sailing, windsurfing, diving or play volleyball.
