Cártama Council has received a €33,000 grant to expand and consolidate its home help service with the funds coming from the Programme for the Consolidation of Home Care Services, part of the Special Social Action Plan of Andalucia to provide extraordinary and urgent assistance in the fight against social exclusion in the region.
Those in need will receive up to twenty hours of home care under the scheme. The aid is in addition to €130,000 already received for preventing social exclusion in employment by providing contracts of between one and three months.
