Prince Felipe and the new president of the Junta de Andalucia, Susana Diaz, will be attending a purely symbolic ceremony today to present the first Airbus A400M to the French Air Force. The official handover of the plane took place on August 1st 2013.
The ceremony takes place at the EADS-CASA factory in San Pablo, Sevilla, where the plane was assembled.
The A400M is the product of ten years of development, 5,000 hours of test fights and has provided work for some 40,000 people in total throughout Airbus Military.
