Police are hoping to finally find the remains of Marta del Castillo, killed by Miguel Carcaño in 2009, after georadar located two ‘hotspots’ at Majaloba farm in La Rinconada, Sevilla.
Carcaño is now on his seventh version of events but police have attached more credibility to his latest statement as he claimed to have dumped the body in a ditch and covered it with farm debris. In January 2009, work was being carried out on water pipes near the farm and there was a ditch in the area at that time.
