The Councillor for Sports, Juanma Cortés, has announced that the indoor swimming pool, closed during the summer for renovations, will reopen shortly.
The pool has been closed during the summer for filter cleaning as well as repairs to one of the walls which was suffering moisture damage.
Cortés added that the pool will initially opened for ‘free’ swimming as, due to Government restrictions, it will not be possible to hire monitors for activities normally carried out at the pool.
The indoor pool, which finally opened last year, had 5,631 users during the period February to December 2012.
