As part of the XIII Science Week, the Nerja Caves will be the location for two free activities aimed at popularising science and knowledge.
On November 12th there will be a tour of the caves and attendees will learn about the various rock formations, over and above the usual stalagmites and stalactites, how earthquakes occurred thousands of years ago and other gems of knowledge.
On November 14th it will be all about the subterranean world of the Nerja Caves, the cave paintings, animal species and how they have adapted and other items.
Both events are free and have a duration of around three hours, from 10:00 to 13:00. You can reserve your place by emailing [email protected] or [email protected].
