The waste collection company in Málaga, LIMASA, will today present a temporary employment expedient, ERTE, affecting its entire workforce.
There has been no agreement reached and if LIMASA proceeds with the ERTE, the employees plan to strike as from December 20th 2013.
LIMASA is presenting its documentation and justification for the ERTE today, Monday, and this means there will be a fifteen day period in which to reach an agreement with the unions. If no agreement is reached and the employees do not accept a pay cut, the ERTE will come into effect on January 1st 2014.
