Ana María Márquez, a consultant in Archaeology, Museology and Cultural Heritage, with a BA in History from the University of Córdoba and an expert in Cultural Heritage for the Higher Council for Scientific Research ( CSIC), has been appointed as director of the Nerja History Museum.
The selection process began last May with the approval of the terms of the post, its publication in the Provincial Gazette (BOP) and the subsequent performance of various tests by the candidates.
The Nerja History Museum is located in Plaza de España, Nerja, and offers a look at the history of the area from Paleolithic times up until the tourist boom years of the 1960’s.
