A boat carrying 41 migrants, including two pregnant women, has been intercepted about 55 miles south of Motril off the Granada coast.
A search was launched after a call from Morocco indicated that a boat had set off from Al Hoceima at around 02:00 on Wednesday morning.
The boat was intercepted and the passengers taken to the port of Motril. All those on board, who included five women and a young girl, were said to be in good health.
