The president of the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL), José Antonio Busto, has opened an investigation to determine how fruit juices collected by the Food Bank of Cadiz for the less fortunate in society ended up on the breakfast table at a PP press conference at their headquarters in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
According to the president of the PP in Cádiz, Antonio Sanz, an error must have occurred with items destined for the breakfast table being confused with those collected by the Food Bank, and apparently clearly packaged as such, for distribution to the needy.
The Food Bank confirmed that the items in question were undoubtedly from the Food Bank and they are also investigating the incident and will take appropriate action.
