The Lions Club of Nerja is launching a youth section which will be open to anyone aged between 13 years and 23 years. It will be one of the few youth sections in Spain currently being operated by the Lions Club.
Members of the youth section will perform social and volunteer work in the community. The Lions Youth Club will have its own assembly, with a president, treasurer and other posts.
Members will, from June 2014 onwards, be able to participate in trips abroad with free travel and lodging. And membership does not cost anything.
The first meeting is scheduled to take place at 19:00 on January 17th in the Nerja Cultural Centre, calle Granada 45. Anyone requiring more information should call Ana on 683225373.

What a great idea. My daughter will definitely be coming to try this out as it is much needed in this town as there is little for teenagers to do so well done…
