Nerja will revert to having its own stand at the next FITUR tourism fair, a move apparently prompted by requests from tourism-related businesses in the town. The Nerja Caves Foundation will also have a stand at the fair.
On the 23rd at noon, it will be the presentation of the 55th Nerja Caves Festival, with more acts than ever for this year’s event, both inside the Caves and on the Paseo Balcón de Europa.
On the 24th at 12:30, the Nerja stand will be the scene for the signing of an ‘important’ agreement between the Nerja Council and the School of Industrial Organisation, a dependency of the Ministry of Industry.
There will also be the presentation of the Nerja Carnival, now in its 30th year, and, as in previous years, the event will be heavily promoted at FITUR.
The Nerja stand will be 80 square metres and serve the dual purpose of promoting tourist attractions and presenting a platform for local businesses to interact with tour operators.
