It began to get a lot cooler on Saturday evening, I suppose it had to eventually, so the snow was no surprise. In town today, the wind wasn’t too bad, just the odd gust. A bit stronger along the riverbed but down on the seafront…whoa….blowing a gale.
It didn’t discourage anyone from going for a Sunday stroll, or didn’t seem to, and there was the usual mixture of top coats and jumpers and shorts and t-shirts to be seen along the promenade. Quite warm when in a shaded area, but elsewhere…
On the promontory the wind was so strong it actually blew me backwards while I was trying to take a photo.
And here’s one that got away!
Considering the storms and the amount of rain in the past couple of days, the river level is not much higher that it was before.
