A 73-year-old woman, a German national, has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing her boyfriend, a 77-year-old Luxembourg national, at their home in El Pinillo, Torremolinos.
Police were called to a house in El Pinillo after neighbours reported hearing screams. When officers arrived, the woman told them that she had had an argument with her boyfriend but nothing had happened. When asked where the boyfriend was she replied that he had gone out.
A few minutes later, the incident room received a call from a Health Centre in Torremolinos to say that a man had been admitted with stab wounds to his side. Police interviewed the man who stated that he was involved in an argument with his partner and that she allegedly stabbed him.
Police returned to the home and proceeded to arrest the woman on charges of causing an injury.
