One hundred people have spent the night battling a forest fire in Segorbe, Castellón, with the blaze still active and out of control this morning.
Air support is expected to be available today to help extinguish the fire, which began at around 11:00 on Tuesday morning in an area of pine trees known as Masía Ferrer.
Several farmers in the area were evacuated as a precautionary measure but there are no reports of injuries or damage to property. A person of advanced age has been charged with starting the fire.
