The Council has reiterated its support for municipal taxi services and their right to drop off and pick up passengers at Málaga airport.
Málaga taxi drivers are once again carrying out industrial action in pursuit of their objective of making Málaga airport a closed shop as far as picking up passengers is concerned.
At the instigation of the Mayor of Nerja, a meeting of the Association of Municipalities of the Axarquia Costa del Sol is scheduled to be held on Wednesday to address this issue. The meeting will be attended by various Mayors, Councillors for Transport and representatives of the taxi industry.
