The Virgen de las Maravillas school in Maro has joined the Learning Community project, a transformation project that is focused on student success in schools through the implementation of participatory methodologies in the teaching-learning process.
This means that the learning process is not solely in the hands of teachers but depends on the joint involvement of teachers and different sectors, such as families, associations and volunteers.
Several groups and associations have already expressed an interest in participating in the project, such as the Lions Club , ANEDA , the Adventure of Writing and Anak as well as various individual professionals.
In a relatively short period of time, the Virgen de las Maravillas school has doubled its number of students and currently has pupils of 29 different nationalities.
