Due to the renovation of the building, the Pinocchio Italian restaurant has taken over the ground floor of the California restaurant a little further along calle Cristo, Nerja. It even has a puppet hanging on the wall.

It is still open, just in a different location. They have taken over the ground floor of California, even gone to the trouble of putting up proper signs so it must be a long-term renovation project.
