At the World Veterans Championships held this past week in Budapest, local athlete Inma Cantero ended up with a brilliant haul of three gold medals in the W-35 category.
The first gold came in the 8km cross country where she clocked a winning time of 29 minutes 42 seconds. Next came victory in the 800 metres with a time of 2 minutes 13.63 seconds and she completed her hat-trick with victory in the half marathon, her time 1 hour 21 minutes and 1 second.
