The Department of Tourism and Territorial Promotion of Málaga Council has included the waterfall between Maro and La Caleta beaches on a list of ‘Unique Corners’, a new ‘brand’ of environmental areas, landscapes, historical or cultural sights of significance that deserve to be promoted for their special beauty.
This new list has, so far, thirty-one items on it, with fifteen of these being in the Serrania de Ronda. In the Axarquía district, currently also included are the source of the río Borbollón in Alfarnatejo and the Alcázar in Alcaucín.
eric says:
how do you find this waterfall,is there a path to it
The Captain says:
As far as I know you can only get to it by sea.
Barry says:
It will probably dry up when the sewerage treatment plant is completed, but don’t hold your breath…..or maybe it IS a good idea to.
