The Nerja Caves Foundation has signed an educational cooperation agreement with the University of Córdoba in which students currently working in the research area of the university will carry out external academic practices at the Nerja History Museum.
The Nerja Caves Foundation and the University of Córdoba have enjoyed good relations for many years and the agreement is seen as beneficial to both parties.
The agreement is initially for one year but is renewable and in practice will involve a total of four students from the University of Córdoba. The duration of this academic work will be one month and is designed not to interfere with the normal studies being carried out by the students.
The students will be involved in making an inventory and cataloguing the museum’s holdings, a benefit to the Nerja Caves Foundation as it doesn’t have the human resources to carry out the task itself.
