Bar Alameda in calle Jaén, Nerja, has had quite a few owners in the past couple of years and has just reopened with the latest set.
The interior of the bar has hardly changed over the years and still has the lovely wooden beams and panels. Nice tapas on offer and there is a small street terrace for those occasional sunny days.
It is not packing them in as yet – it was empty when I visited on Sunday lunchtime – which dampens the atmosphere a bit, but it is pleasant enough. A beer and a tapa, €1.50.
