Bus drivers in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cádiz, have started an indefinite strike to coincide with the start of the May Feria.
Starting today, there will be just two buses running in the mornings and three in the afternoon to comply with minimum service levels.
The unions have blamed the bus company’s lack of willingness to negotiate for the strike. One of the main stumbling blocks to an agreement is a claim by the workers for the reinstatement of a salary supplement.
