A boat carrying 32 sub-Saharan migrants, 31 males and 1 pregnant female, has arrived in the port of Málaga after being intercepted about 55 miles south of the Málaga coast.
Several calls were received from Morocco stating that a boat had set off from somewhere between Alhucemas and Nador and was heading for the Spanish mainland.
A merchant ship spotted the vessel 55 miles off the Málaga coast and Maritime Rescue vessels set off to make an interception. The vessel arrived in Málaga port just after midnight.
