The Council has announced plans to carry out various building works at the Nueva Nerja school, including the construction of a new entrance on avenida de Pescia.
At the same time, the Councillor for Education took the opportunity to denounce the Junta de Andalucia for not carrying out the work to install a lift in the school.
A new lift was donated by journalist Eduardo San Martín, an architect donated his services free of charge to carry out the project and a company offered to transport the lift, again for free. This was along time ago yet apparrently none of them have ever heard anything from the Junta de Andalucia.
